Realty and Legal Liasson Officer-Contract -six months with Ontario Govt Agency

Job Requirements

Collecting and recording property acquisition documentation (i.e. requirement to secure, purchase, expropriate, or otherwise acquire land for capital project delivery)

Reviewing and analyzing land and real estate documents for proper completion and compliance with capital projects requirements, recommends improvements/ remedies, and determines priority processes/actions, potential issues, and associated risks

Oversees, tracks and reviews outstanding documents, actions, and requests to facilitate the acquisition process moving forward on target to meet schedule delivery deadlines, and escalating problems for resolution

Monitor  real estate data to ensure its integrity by tracking and verifying the documents through the project

Manage property data to ensure consistent updating of information to ensure timely and accurate reporting of property acquisition status, expropriation status and delivery status

Researching property data as needed.

Creation of PowerPoint slide decks for the purposes of project tracking.

Background or previous experience in land acquisition, urban planning, real estate or asset management preferred

Experience with GIS systems and applications an asset

Ability to multi-task and turn around large amounts of data quickly
