Procurement Coordinator
Duration: Contract for 6 months
Location: Downtown, Toronto
Work hours: Hybrid—3 days on site.
Job Description:
Our one of the Govt sector Clients in Down Town, Toronto
needs Procurement Coordinators
to provide procurement and contract management consultation, coordination,
support and quality customer service to procurement agencies of various Govt
departments. The job includes:
*Advice to clients, solicit client needs, project
leadership, development of materials to acquire goods and services through a
second stage procurement process,
*Manage clients and vendors through the administration of
Request for Service (RFS), contracts/agreements/statements of work and manage
any issues that may arise during the process.
*Develop second stage materials for clients and lead the
interactions with vendors.
Skills Required:
* Experience and knowledge of procurement principles and
understanding of procurement processes to effectively develop materials for a
vast number of clients and managing procurement related tasks.
* Experience in managing positive complex relationships and
ability to manage client needs. *Experience in managing different tasks in the
planning and execution of high volume of requests
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
*Ability to plan and organize to effectively process
procurement requests
*Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to
use diplomacy and tact when resolving conflict.
*Oral and interpersonal skills to provide advice and
information to clients and staff, respond to questions, promote a fair and
transparent procurement process, update on status and convey requirements to
vendors
* Procurement experience in Govt./Public sector and or large
corporations desired
