Human Resources (HR) Generalist (Contract)

Requirements

Human Resources Generalist will handle a variety of tasks within the HR department. Responsibilities that the role perform include:

• Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, supporting exits, processing documentation such as termination letters, salary change notices, and ensuring a positive workplace environment.

• Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.

• Employee Engagement: Creating initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement

HR Generalists need to be adaptable and skilled in various areas to effectively support the HR department and Sheridan as a whole.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources
  • CHRP designation preferred
  • 3+ years of experience preferably in a large post secondary education institutions-University/CollegeH
