Job Title: ERP Project Manager


This contract role involves collaborating closely with the ERP Program Director to ensure resource alignment and the successful execution of the project.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

Work closely with the project director to ensure delivery of the project as per the project plan.

Day-to-day management of the project, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.

Coordinate with the stakeholders to obtain approval for any scope, budget, and schedule changes.

Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, particularly Canadian regulations.

Resources Management

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure resources are available when needed.

Monitor resource utilization to prevent overloading or underutilization.

Ensure user training is executed effectively.

Communication and Reporting:

Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Maintain clear and open communication with project director and the project team.

Provide regular project status updates and reports to the project director and the stakeholders.

Escalate critical issues to project director and the stakeholders.

Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of the new ERP system.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing ERP implementation projects or other digital transformation projects.

Strong understanding of core finance, procurement, CRM, and integration processes.

Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.

Knowledge in project management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on ERP implementations.

Experience working with major ERP systems

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
